Along the streets of urban Detroit a self styled cowboy named Durrel Montgomery rides his horse with a mission in mind. 'They say what's good for the outside of a horse is good for the inside of man' Durrel tells us. He believes that working with horses kept him out of trouble as a kid and taught him important values. Today he dreams of passing those values on to a new generation of Detroit youth by starting a riding center in the city. In this short film we meet Durrel, see him riding through the city and taking care of his horse at his ranch with his son, and sitting down for a drink by his fire at the end of his day.
